Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affections and attachments. (Wiki)
"Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove. O no, it is an ever fixed mark That looks on tempests and is never shaken; It is the star to every wand'ring barque, Whose worth's unknown although his height be taken. Love's not time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks Within his bending sickle's compass come; Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, But bears it out even to the edge of doom."
-Sonnet 116, Shakespeare
Well, the poet begins to come to the conclusion that love can shelter him. The conclusion he does come to in Sonnet 116 is that love, despite time, is a constant. Throughout history, poets, writers, artists, philosophers, and scientists have attempted to conceptualize love.
Unfortunately, love can become subjective in its definition from person to person. Maybe Sternberg, Hojjat, & Barnes’s (2001) said it best: love is a subjective story that is defined by the people who are involved, through the eyes of their history and how that history collides with today.
Love comes with obstacles, It really depends on what obstacles you are trying to overcome and if the person you love , loves you the same and is working toward the same goal you are.
BUT, love can overcome a lot but there are true differences, hardships, responsibilities, obligations, and values that can keep sincere love from growing or being pursued. Values constantly change in a lifetime. Sometimes love is just not enough , in my opinion, Love DOES NOT conquer all. The only love that prevails is your love of life.

Dilla Donuts
RIP J dilla aka Jay DeeFebruary 7, 1974 – February 10, 2006
-Erykah Badu's album New Amerykah a song with Questlove as a tribute to Dilla titled "Telephone."
-Q-Tip's The Renaissance album "Life is Better" feat. Norah Jones. Listen to it.
No disrespect but big ups to DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Madlib, Peter Rosenberg, but J dilla is in my opinion one of the greatest producers ever. The beats he flows coming straight out of Jazz, Soul, and Funk and the amazing collaborations with Common, The Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest, Slum Village, etc..
Thank FUCKING God, Peter Rosenberg always plays J dilla's music during his sunday nights. PEOPLE SLEEP ON THIS MAN.

Rapping is something we do. Hip-hop is lived." -KRS-One
Hip-hop lovers. I went to Rock The Bells again, and out of all the big names who peformed, I was more prepared for SLUM VILLAGE. It sucks that they were on the small back stage, a group like them, needed to be heard on the big stage. As soon as the The Roots left, I jetted to the other stage and caught them right on time playing "Tainted", "Players", "Selfish", a "Do You" a J dilla tribute and even there new songs from their new coming album.
But I am pleased that I spent 97 bucks for these amazing artists and the special guests who came through to show the real hip-hop.
-Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek), Common's "Testify", "Universal Mind Control", "Announcement"
- some great offenders ( Evidence & Alchemist, Cypress Hills, MOP, Sage Francis, Necro)
- Slaughterhouse- well, I am not a fan of Joel Ortiz but when Joe Budden peformed "Pump It Up", it was "aiiiiight".
- BIG BOI-peforming "Ms. Jackson", "The Way You Move", "Elevators", and the very special Purple Ribbon All-Stars "Kryptonite".
-Supernatural hosting and freestyling about any random object handed to him
-WUTANG - peforming their classics "C.R.E.A.M", to Ol' Dirty Bastard's "Shimmy Shimmy Ya", Raekwon's "Ice Cream", Mobb Deep with "Shook Ones" and of course, Method Man (i love you)
-NAS, with AZ, peforming The Firm's illest "Phone Tap"
-Damian Marley with the famous "Don't worry, Be Happy...=]", "Road To Zion"
oh and can somebody please let me know where the HELL was Ice Cube at?
"Today Was A Good Day" was definetely needed after hearing Tech N9ne o_0
